Welcome to the December newsletter from Caragh Yoga.
It's beginning to feel a little bit Christmassy or hectic, whatever your take might be. The elf is back on the shelf by the skin on his teeth (at 5.30 this morning). Why did I ever take that on? Now is the time to tap into our inner calm by keeping up our yoga practice while we count down to the time off. Below are details of all the classes I offer at the moment and the dates when we'll break for Christmas.
The 6.30pm class is no longer running on Tuesday evenings. The 8pm mixed level hatha flow class is a drop-in class, open to everyone and will run up to and including December 20th, when we will take a break for Christmas. This class takes place in Knox Hall in Monkstown.
The Thursday morning class takes place at 9.30am in St. Paul's Parish Centre in Glenageary. This is a mixed level drop-in hatha flow class. There is no class on December 8th or December 22nd, so the only class between now and Christmas is December 15th. The class will resume in January. I'll send details of dates once we get Christmas out of the way!
At 10am on Saturday morning in St. Paul's Parish Centre on Adelaide Road in Glenageary, there is a hatha flow class. Again this is a drop-in class, open to all. This class will run up and including December 17th. Then we'll break for Christmas and resume in January.
We've two weeks to go in the current prenatal yoga course in Clonlea Yoga Studio in Blackrock. The next 6 week course will begin in January. I'll confirm the dates closer to the time but the class is at 8pm until 9.15pm. If you'd like to take part in the next course, please let me know. This course was really busy this term, so booking ahead is advisable.
One of my favourite things in our yoga classes is the moment at the end when we think of something we're grateful for. It's amazing how much comes to mind when you stop to think of it. I am very grateful to all my students who come along to my classes and give me the chance to teach yoga. I hope you get as much from the classes as I feel I do.
